The second treatment was Monday. It included just the two chemotherapies, as well as the same premedications; the steroid, anti nausea, anti diarrheal, and the Benadryl. The Benadryl. Whoa. It hit me a lot more and a lot longer this time. I believe that there were more saline flushes that may have diluted it during the first treatment.
After some extenuating circumstances, (1) a migraine plus a windstorm Wednesday night equals a terrible night sleep and (2) pesky sneezing from a tree beginning to flower, I’d say so far so good after the second treatment. I’ve needed a few more naps for a little longer.
Some of you know that I started a Medical Qigong Practitioner training. I’ve put that on hold for now but my dear teacher and classmates sent me a Divine River of Light remote healing today. Normally when I lay down for a nap, I nap. This time, I set the timer for 20 minutes to receive the remote healing. It went by fast with no dozing, just relaxing and opening in all the areas I am used to tensing. This tensing is a superpower I need to abandon!
It’s been about a month since my haircut. Last night I realized that sometimes I have Christopher Walken hair. Ha! When I think of him I lighten up remembering his Saturday Night Live skits The Googly Eyes Gardner and More Cow Bell.
Speaking of googly eyes. This morning I noticed some short hairs in the sink. 👀
Take care and much love,
D’Arcy
The Divine River of Light remote healing sounds so amazing! What an experience! Yes, lose the tension. Keep your smiling glowing.
Hi Ed! I’m smiling right now! 😁 Thank you.
you are doing so amazing!!! keep up your sweet smile and strength. Yeah on remote healing. Take all the naps you want/need. Hugs and prayers.
🥰 Thank you, Rose. Will do!
Hi D’Arcy, It looks like the treatments are already beginning to work. That’s the good part. And a very good part it is. The side affects plus a migraine is not OK. I’ll be talking to the powers that be that migraines are rude and totally unnecessary. Love the fact that you found Medical Qigong and have experienced its healing power.
It will be nice to have a practitioner in the family. Love Mom
Hi Mom, Agreed! Migraines and side effects are the height of rudeness. A silver lining is that they may end for good as the treatment progresses.
I look forward to continuing my MQP courses next year while putting what I’ve learned into practice for my cancer now.
Love,
D’Arcy
I love Christopher Walken too. can’t go wrong with his look
😁
